BASIC TECHNOLOGY CLASSES FOR ADULTS

The Adult Computer Literacy Program provides participants with essential computer skills training classes and exposure to commonly used software applications. Additionally, adult students are offered various progressive skills training and job readiness workshops on advanced business software applications e.g., website building, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks and more.

 
 
 

AFTER SCHOOL & DAYTIME PROGRAMMING

The Emerging Technology Program at the David E. Glover Education & Technology Center provides an exploratory learning environment for youth ages 12-18. Students have the opportunity to learn creative coding, video game design, VR/AR, artificial intelligence, robotics, circuitry, and fashion technology with an emphasis on social justice.

Through partnerships with schools in the East Bay, we provide free programming to middle and high school classes during the day. If you are a teacher or administrator interested in participating in our daytime programming, please contact us!

SUMMER OF INNOVATION

The Summer of Innovation is a FREE 5-week summer camp for middle school age youth-of-color interested in exploring how to create video games, VR, circuitry and code websites surrounding issues they are passionate about. Come join us for a summer of fun, creativity, and engineering! No previous coding or design skills required! If you are interested in applying, applications will open again in Spring 2019.
